My home town is in the center of Xuzhou which was a quiet and beautiful place. In the past, there were many animals. They were lovely and nice. The air was fresh and there were many birds fly in the sky.

Over the past years, it has changed a lot. At the present, it becomes a modern town and develops a lot. Now, the people in Xuzhou are richer than before, so most of people go to work by bus or by underground. Sometimes, they also drive their private cars to work. Many people sell out their old houses andmove into new flats.

In some ways, the development has brought some good things, but it has also causes much environment pollution. I think we should take action to reduce the pollution.

I used to live in a small town with trees all around.There was no tall building and the only street was narrow.Just outside the town,there was a river.You can see different kinds of fish swimming in the clear water.People here lived a simple life.

Great changes have taken place here.You can see tall buildings,big department stores and factories everywhere.Different kinds of cars and buses are running in the big streets.But with the development of the industry,we have fewer trees.Air and water pollution is becoming more and more serious.We must do something to stop pollution and make our town even more beautiful.

I live in a city, since I was small, I witnessed all the things happened in this city. Now, in my eyes, after so many years, the city has changed so much. First, the transportation has become fluent. Many years ago, there were less bus stations, people always needed to changed their lines by many cars. But now, almost all the places can be reached by bus, people don’t need to change the line. Second, the buildings are enlarging, this reflects the city’s economy develops fast.
