托福综合写作范文-关于选秀节目
Over the past couple of years, a variety of talent shows have emerged on TV channels across the nation, from Happy Boys to Happy Girls and so forth. This type of entertainment program is intensely popular, especially among young adults and has produced profound impacts on their studies and life. There are a couple of reasons behind the tide.

To start with, young folks need role models to learn from. So many of them are crazy for contestants participating in these programs. This gives rise to the increasing emergence of these shows because TV networks naturally need to cater to young audiences. Plus, thanks to economic and political reforms carried out by the government, this crop of young generation have more freedom and desire to express and showcase themselves. Therefore, a growing number of young people desire to get involved in these shows. This is a divisive topic.
On my personal level, the talent show is a superb means of relaxing and amusing and can hugely relieve our strains. As college students, however, we could not afford to indulge in them and should be aware of the utmost importance of studies.
托福综合写作范文-学历造假:
Etymologically, the word “credential” derives from “credit” and is related to the moral attribute of credibility. An academic credential reflects a student"s academic knowledge and expertise, with which he becomes qualified for performing certain professional responsibilities at certain professional positions. Academic credentials shouldn"t be falsified because false credentials are dangerous. For example, a medical graduate with false credentials can kill his patients rather than rescuing them.
Currently, fabricating academic credentials is particularly rampant in China, where all recruitments seem to involve credentials. In order to secure the job they want, some job seekers without the required credentials have no alternative but to have them fabricated by professional forgers. While condemning users of fake credentials on both legal and moral grounds, we somehow tend to sympathize with them as they are victimized by a society addicted to the credential mania.
A more despicable form of credential fabrication is perpetrated by those already highly successful people—businessmen, entrepreneurs, government officials, celebrities in the entertainment industry, etc. They use false credentials not so much to advance their careers as to project their personal image as an icon. This is a greater evil because those fabricators contrive, through fraudulence, to secure our admiration and respect on the spiritual level. A most notorious case is the scandal of TxxJxx, who pretends to be a role model for innocent Chinese youth, with false Ph.D. credential from a non-existent American university.
托福综合写作范文-逆境
On Adversity
Everyone meets setbacks and fiustratians In life, and each tries hard to avoid them, only to find tbat they"re just like your own shadow accompanying you all your lives. The truth is,adversity can exert great influence on you, depending on how you deal with it.
When confronted with adversity, different people make different response. Some people consider it a stumbling block on the road to success, and get depressed and even sink into despair; others consider it tlbe stairway to great accomplishments and try to overcome it with constant struggle. The latter, therefore, will recognize their disadvantages from their temporary defeat, draw lessons from it, and grow stronger each time they have coped witb a difficulty.
In my opinion, adversity often leads to prosperity. Painful and depressing as it is, overcoming adversity endows us with great confidence that is crucial to achieve success. Great people are not born successful, they are great only because they have tempered their personality and remedied their deficiencies through experiencing countless adversity and defeat, which is actually a goddess of blessing in disguise.
